# Thread Milling & Subplate Preparation

The subplate evolves from a simple fixture into the production foundation for the upcoming 5-axis series.

With the foundation now machined, the next step is preparing it for production. In this episode, the subplate is modified with thread milling and mounting features for the upcoming 5-axis components.
